This new camera phone from Sharp, adapted for the colour,
sound and pictures services, has tri-band capability
and takes MMS to the limits - with an integrated digital
camera, digital zoom for close-ups, the facility of
three pictures sizes and a fantastic colour screen that
displays over 65,000 colours allowing you to take, send
and receive quality photos, and even a timer so you
can get in the frame yourself!
The new clamshell design phone, features external and
flip-up displays, side volume control, call answering,
16-part polyphonic ringtones and has storage capacity
for up to 80 digital pictures. As well as being a mobile
and digital camera, this cool Vodafone Live phone supports
sound and picture communication via MMS plus Java, which
means that users can download programes and services
to their handset. About 30 Java games have been adapted
to the Sharp GX10i from the extensive game collection
of Vodafone live! so gamers have loads to keep
them pre-occupied!
Take pictures, download more games, send emails, download
more polyphonic ringtones, send and receive colour images
and get the latest news, sports and weather, down to
the nearest restaurant right from the palm of your hand
through Vodafone Live!
Unlike the Panasonic GD87 whose external display which
can be customised during an incoming call, the GX-10
doesnt support this facility and neither can you
take pictures when the clamshell is shut the
camera switches off when you close the phone.
As well as featuring a full range of organisation tools,
including calendar, call manager and voice notes (though
there are no voice dial/commands) you can also compose
your own polyphonic ringtones, with an orchestra of
over 100 instruments to choose from.
The new GX10i is available in the new Anthracite colour.
