as well as the all important Java for downloading
games and other applications. With sophisticated features,
easy pictorial navigation system and a detachable camera
with integrated flash, the S55 is designed for life

day or night is easy with this handset as it features
an integrated flash (as to be manually selected) and
viewing the images and adding music and/or text to the
picture is great for sending the MMS to anywhere in

With a flexible memory, the S55s space can be
allocated where you need it most whether its
for diary entries, in the address book or for messages.
The Bluebooth technology and extended organiser software
helps the busy user keep track on both their work and
social life and automatically synchronises contacts
and schedules wirelessly with PC and PDA.
With the latest Java technology, the S55 offers
plenty of practical business as well as fun entertainment
applications such as the built-in game (Jet Ski) which
is preloaded along with travel and business guides.

The handsets bright colour screen is capable
of displaying seven lines of text along with animated
graphics and colour pictures, numbers can be divided
into eight groups (each one with a distinctive ringtone)
and a sizeable address book which will store up to 500
entries, all of which are stored within the phones
memory. Polyphonic ringtones are supported but you can
also add your own selection via SMS/MMS or PC connection.
The S55 allows five WAP portals to be set up, with
10 access profiles for WAP and MMS and another 15 profiles
available for Java download.
By using GPRS and the integrated e-mail client, images
can also be sent from mobile to PC and can be displayed
in a personal photo album on line at Siemens for everyone
to see!
Unlike its predecessor and other Siemens handsets,
you cannot replace the front-panel and battery cover
on the S55.
